An inconvenient truth the documentary film tried to tell us that the earth in great dangerous situation. If the most scientists are right in ten years time we will face a very big problem in our plant with all sort of effect in the weather this caused by the greenhouse gases formed in the atmosphere of the earth which did not let the son light reflect. Former vice president Al Gore said that the amount of carbon dioxide is more in the planet the temperature will increase. He showed us examples of some places used to be cold but now it became hotter. Al Gore said that with the increase of the temperature the two poles will melt and this cause an increase of the sea level and because of that a lot of countries will be under the water. The last points Al Gore said are many cities took the global warming situation seriously and every body is involved and we must reduce the amount of Co2 we uses and try to find another source of energy to use.

This is a brief Summary of the movie in my opinion the movie was good and interesting .However the movie was a Pessimistic movie it didn't took about the good thing may happen from the Global Warming.

purpose of the blog

The purpose of this blog is to write about the global warming I write this project to know the problem that the earth will face in the future. First I will write about my self and a review of a movie called An Inconvenient truth presented by the vice president of USA Al Gore. I will add all the links of the student in the class to share with every body about global warming and the purpose of the project. Then I will write the definition of global warming and some evidence and the causes of it. After that I will present a presentation of global warming and it effects fore example effect in animal, children and Small Island. Then I will about things that each of us can do in the UAE.

The increase in the average temperature of the earth's atmosphere. The human activity effect to this change through the increase of heat trapping greenhouse gases. Over time, this increase may be enough to cause climatic change, including raising sea levels, altering precipitation patterns and changing water supplies and crop yields. Global warming could also affect human health, harm wildlife. The evidence of the global warming is that the increase of carbon dioxide in earth measured by the science and Levels of atmospheric methane, powerful greenhouse gas .another evidence is that poles are melting because of the increase of the earth temperature. The measurement done by the scientist’s show that temperature is raising and the sea level also more than it was in the past. The change in the weather that cusses a lot of disaster is clear evidence of global warming.

causes of global warming

There are two main causes for global warming the firs one is natural causes is a release of methane gas from arctic tundra and wetlands. Methane is a greenhouse gas. A greenhouse gas is a gas that traps heat in the earth's atmosphere and the earth in a cycle of climate change. The other causes are made by the human’s Pollution made by the increase of using carbon dioxide.

One gallon of gasoline which is weight 6.5 pounds that is use in our cars produces about 19 pound of carbon dioxide the cause of increasing the earth temperature. I am using a car that burn 25.4 gallon when it tank is full that’s mean that I produce about 502.92 pound of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every time I go to refill my car tank in one week 8046.72 pound in one month 32186.88 in one year 386242.56 pound of Co2 in the air . If I change my car into a car with 13.2 gallon I will produce nearly half of Co2 than my current car .in this way I will contribute in reducing of carbon dioxide in our plant.

Global warming is having a big effect on many plants and many animal species around the world. However these effects will not be felt for many years. According to Mr. Terry L. Root, a senior fellow with Stanford's Institute for International Studies (IIS) and lead author of the Jan. 2 Nature study. "Birds are laying eggs earlier than usual, plants are flowering earlier and mammals are breaking hibernation sooner,”. The prices of Houses that are near to the sea will reduce due to the global warming effects plant because of the pole are melting will increase the sea level so the houses are near the sea will be disappear.
